Your profile and security
Your profile settings are personal to your account and apply across all workspaces you belong to.
Accessing your settings
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Settings. Your settings are organized into four tabs — Profile, Preferences, Security, and Account.
Profile
- Name — your display name, shown to teammates across your workspaces
- Profile photo — upload a photo that appears next to your name; you can remove it at any time
Preferences
- Email notifications — toggle whether you receive email notifications for workspace activity
Security
Changing your password
- Go to the Security tab in your settings
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click Update password
Forgot your password?
If you can't remember your current password, sign out and use the Forgot password? link on the sign-in page. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new one.
Two-factor authentication
The Security tab is also where you enable or disable 2FA — see Two-factor authentication.
Account
The Account tab lists the workspaces you own and the ones you're a member of, and lets you delete your account.
Deleting your account is permanent. It deletes every workspace you own — including their members, data, and subscriptions — and removes you from workspaces owned by others. To confirm, you'll need to enter your password and type your email address. If a workspace should outlive your account, transfer ownership to a teammate first.
Workspaces vs. your account
Your account (profile, email, password) is separate from your workspaces. You can belong to multiple workspaces with the same account, and profile changes affect how you appear in all of them.
